Neymar: “I’m slowly getting back to be the player I was in Brazil”

After another convincing performance where Neymar helped Barcelona rescuing a vital draw when the game was already going into its final quarter of an hour, the Brazil international admitted that he’s gradually returning to be the player  he used to be.

Neymar: “I’m getting back to be the player I was before. It’s perfectly normal to go through an adaptation period once we come to Europe. I’ve had it, but I’m already feeling a lot more loose these days, and therefore I hope I can help my teammates even further in our upcoming games”, said the 21-year old forward right after the 1-1 draw between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.

Neymar has already scored 15 goals this season, with 9 of those in La Liga and 4 in the Champions League. Barcelona returns to action in this Saturday to face off with Betis in the Camp Nou. You can watch Barça vs Betis on beIN Sports USA.
