Neymar is hopeful about playing against León
Neymar is already entering the final stages of his injury recovery plan and he might be making his return to the fields on August 18, by the time Barcelona will host León in the Camp Nou, for the Joan Gamper trophy.
The Brazilian returned to training on August 5, after being given an extended break right after the 2014 FIFA World Cup was over. He has been going through a special recovery plan since then and there are good reasons to believe that he might already be fit to play a few minutes in next week’s friendly against León.
Earlier this Monday, Neymar already trained without limitations and with the rest of his teammates during a good time of the team’s practice and if everything goes according to plan, he should be eligible to play right from the start in Barcelona‘s debut in La Liga, against Elche on August 24.
In the meantime, two other Spanish teams will clash in Wales this Tuesday night. There’s a Real Madrid vs Sevilla clash in Cardiff in a few hour from now, in order to decide who will lift the first trophy of the season, the UEFA Super Cup.
