Neymar is back to training but still apart from the rest of the team
Neymar has finally finished his vacation and has now returned to training with FC Barcelona. The 22-year old has joined the rest of his teammates in order to ultimate the preparations for the upcoming 2014-15 season, but he didn’t exactly step up to the pitch just yet.
The Brazilian star went through a few medical tests with the club’s doctors, in order to make sure his back injury recovery is progressing as it should. Barcelona has also published a statement in which they informed the fans that Neymar will only start training without limitation when they feel it’s completely safe for his health.
Neymar wasn’t the only one returning to training this Tuesday (August 5) though… Lionel Messi, Javier Mascherano and Daniel Alves have also kicked off with their first set of pre-season practices, allowing Luis Enrique to finally be able to count with the full squad for the first time since he took over.
As revealed by the club itself, there’s no exact date for Neymar to return to training with his teammates and without limitations. Nevertheless, the club also admitted that Neymar has been healing well from the fractured vertebra, which, in a certain way, allows us to expect that he might be back to train normally within a matter of days.
You can watch Barcelona vs Napoli live stream on Ronaldo7.net this Wednesday evening, as the Blaugranas take on Rafael Benitez‘s side in a friendly match held in Geneva, Switzerland.
Barcelona‘s first official fixture this season is on August 24, for La Liga. Neymar and his teammates will be facing Elche in the Camp Nou, in the Spanish League‘s opening round. The Brazilian ace is highly likely to already be available to start or at least get a few playing minutes in that game.
